About

Founded in 2002, 10four Design Group’s mission is to achieve the perfect balance between information and aesthetics. The firm’s two principals, Matt Heximer and Sue Lepard bring a fresh, creative perspective to every project. Specializing in branding, packaging and exhibit design, 10four Design Group helps businesses, both large and small, focus their message.

Matt Heximer principal
Matt studied design at The Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, where he met Sue. Besides holding down the fort, Matt is great with clients and enjoys designing fonts. His typefaces have been featured in the books Faces on the Edge: Digital Typography, and IndieFonts; A Compendium of Digital Type from Independent Foundries. Matt likes comic books, apple fritters and minivans. Although he is colour blind and missing half a finger, he can still cobble together a pretty decent logo.

Sue Lepard principal
Sue studied design at The Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, where she met Matt. Although she was trained as a graphic designer, her true passion lies in illustration and surface design. Her prints and patterns have be sold at Anthropologie, Crate&Barrel and Chapters/Indigo. Sue likes polka dots, documentaries and exercise. Despite not knowing many key commands, she is known for her efficiency and attention to detail.
